Petroleum - the cure
Did you already hear of the curative effect of the petroleum? I hardly believe, because many pharmacists refuse selling it to you. It was cited for many decades even in the German drug book DAB. Then it was deleted as a cure.
Why? Allegedly because of not proven effect!? Petroleum is an oil component. Oil is condensed plant mass. Plant had to take up sunlight otherwise it could become no plant. On the bottles stands unfortunately „poisonous“ and „acrid”, „do not (…)

Planned coal to gas transition will DOUBLE Australian electric power greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution
15 May 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Australia is a world leader in annual per capita greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution, coal exports and Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) exports. Thus Australia’s annual per capita Domestic plus Exported GHG pollution is 60 times the annual per capita GHG pollution of Bangladesh. The extreme right wing, pro-coal, pro-gas Australian Labor Government is proposing a Carbon Tax and says that a major consequence will be a coal to gas transition for fossil fuel burning for electric power. However, as set out (…)

Pro-gas Australian Labor Govt wants Coal to Gas transition by Carbon Tax - but Gas burning worse GHG-wise
16 April 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentAustralia has a shocking record of climate change inaction coupled with an unenviable position as a world leader in annual per capita greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution. However the anti-science, pro-fossil fuel Australian Labor Government headed by pro-war, pro-Zionist, pro-neocon America, pro-coal, pro-gas PM Julia Gillard survives as a Minority Government due to alliance with 1 Green MP and 2 rural independent MPs.
After much prevarication the neocon Australian Labor Government has (…) -
The Race for Space Solar Energy
23 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
The failures of the General Electric nuclear reactors in Japan to safely shut down during the 9.0 Tahoku earthquake, following in the wake of the catastrophic Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and the deadly methane gas explosion in Massey’s West Virginia coal mine, conclusively demonstrate the grave dangers to human society posed by current energy production methods.
The radiation plume from melting reactor cores and the smoke of burning spent fuel rods threaten the lives (…) -
3.3% Methane (CH4) leakage & CH4 105 times worse than CO2 as a GHG => gas dirtier than coal GHG-wise
20 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsMethane (CH4) is a major greenhouse gas (GHG) that on a 100 year time scale has a relative global warming potential (GWP) that is 25 times that of carbon dioxide (CO2).
However a re-assessment by US scientists that takes atmospheric aerosol responses to CH4 into account has found that on a 20 year time scale CH4 is 105 times worse than CO2 as a GHG (as compared to 79 without considering aerosol effects).
Recent data from the US EPA indicates that the industrial leakage of CH4 in the US (…) -
Petroleum and Empire in North Africa

by Keith Harmon Snow
"Are events unfolding in Libya, Tunisia and Egypt more about petro-terrorism or about freedom and democracy? How much oil is there in North Africa? Who is in control of that oil? What is the relationship between the West and Muammar Gaddafi?
People wishing to support the legitimate grievances and actions for freedom and truth in Libya should challenge the Western terrorist apparatus out of Washington DC, Tel Aviv, Brussels, London and Ottawa...." (…) -
Resource to stop gas-fired power plants, fossil fuel burning, GHG pollution & man-made climate change
27 February 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
The World is facing a Climate Emergency and a worsening Climate Genocide due to Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) from man-made greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution from burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and from GHG-producing agriculture and forestry practices.
The World must cease fossil fuel burning and that means that it should stop building new fossil fuel-burning power plants.
However there is a big push around the World for a shift to gas burning from coal burning based (…) -
Huge US natural gas leakage means STOP gas rush, gas boom, gas-fired power plants & global Gasland
5 January 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Because natural gas-fired power plants emit half the CO2 and much lower levels of other pollutants per unit energy produced as coal-fired plants there is a big push for a coal to gas transition. However methane (CH4; the major constituent of natural gas) leaks and is 72 times worse than carbon dioxide (CO2) as a greenhouse gas (GHG) on a 20 year time scale.
It can be readily calculated that a 3.7% leakage of CH4 yields that same GHG effect as burning the remaining 96.7% of the CH4 (see (…) -
A detailed resource to stop the Gas Boom, Gas Rush, Gasland obscenity devastating Australia and America
27 December 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentA proposal for 1,000 MW gas-fired power plant to be built 1.5 kilometres from the SE Queensland, Australia Lockyer Valley town of Gatton (population 6,000) has drawn the ire of local residents. The local Lockyer Valley Regional Council (LVRC) has rejected an application from the proponent, Westlink, to build the plant. Westlink is appealing this decision of the council. [1].
The local opposition to the gas-fired power plant has been stated by Chris Hall of Keep Lockyer Rural: “[ re (…) -

Welcome back for the third in our current series on the science and politics of global warming. Previously, we discussed how and why global warming occurs, how individuals profit from the energy industry, and why they argue over global warming or “climate change” [ http://tinyurl.com/26cn4gj and http://tinyurl.com/2876bl3, or for more details, (…)
